Giving comments at the conference, council members requested that the consulting unit review, update, and supplement the legal basis for implementing the planning; further clarify the regional relationship between Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone and the Central region.
Adjustments to previously approved planning, as well as land use zoning and indicators, it should determine criteria for evaluating projects that are suitable or not suitable for the planning. It is essential to review and ensure consistency of information and data, carefully assess the competitive advantages of the Economic Zone, and review and estimate investment capital for each zoning. Caution is necessary when converting the use of rice fields and forest land to other purposes.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van requested the consulting unit to fully gather and note the comments of representatives of central ministries, branches, and professional associations. He emphasized the importance of reviewing and fully assessing the current development status of the Economic Zone as a basis for proposing new development orientations. The land fund for future development should be noted; Analyze more content related to urban development, urban space, and technical infrastructure; Supplement diagrams and maps showing the technical infrastructure connections within the Economic Zone and traffic connections between the Economic Zone and other areas in the region; Focus on aspects of security, defense, environmental protection, and sustainable development and quickly complete the project documents.
